10 ways to self care while on lockdown!

Hey boo,

Congratulations on your self care journey! 

1.Wake up at a reasonable time. I say reasonable because I personally hate waking up early lol I’ll wake up at a nice time usually around 8am on my off days. Anything earlier I can not do! not even with my coffee.☕️ I know when you read on the internet people tell you that you need to wake up at like 5am to have a productive day ... don’t believe the hype. Unless your schedule/ job requires you to wake up that early. Just keep in mind the earlier you get things done the sooner you can sit down and relax!  Have a productive day.

2. Dress up really nice! Beat your face, slay your outfit @shop_shesoincouture and treat yourself to a homemade brunch or dinner don’t go to a fast food restaurant. Pull out your fine tableware & set your table...that’ll make you excited and feel special and relaxed.

3. Next time you go to the market buy yourself some fresh flowers. Nothing makes me more happy than flowers and candles. I buy them and place them in every room. 

4. Get a message from bae. Girllllll messages are the best thing to add to your self care checklist. 

5. Do your hair/ Nails.  Soak your feet in lavender epsom salt and paint your nails. When you look good you feel good. 

6. Talk to GOD

7. practice affirmations 

8. Meditation/Yoga

9. Log out of all your social media for 48 hours

10. Listen to meditation music it’s really relaxing!
